Acts of Attaching
” Acts of Attaching” was made for the Exhibition She Speaks Up curated by Sharon Young 2023. The pieces involve interactions between living plants and handmade weaving/netting. The plants grow and climb, up and around the woven textiles to become a living piece exploring interspecies kinship and human and nonhuman co-existence.
